Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Andrew tank in new popularity rankings

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince Andrew have proved to be some of the least popular members of the British Royal Family in the latest YouGov data ranking, reported Express UK.

While both Harry and Meghan enjoyed immense popularity across the UK in the wake of their royal wedding, the two seemed to have tanked in the past two years since their exit from the royal family in 2020.

In the latest YouGov popularity poll, Harry ranks at 11 out of 15, while Meghan sits at 14th place, just one above Prince Andrew, another member of the family whose fallen out of public favour in the wake of his sex abuse scandal.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth emerged as the most popular royals, with Prince William coming in at second. The late Prince Philip remains the third most popular royal in the year since his passing at the age of 99 in April 2021.

1. Queen Elizabeth – 75 percent
2. Prince William – 66 percent
3. Prince Philip – 64 percent
4. Kate, Duchess of Cambridge – 60 percent
5. Princess Anne – 52 percent

7. Sophie, Countess of Wessex – 44 percent
8. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall – 40 percent
9. Zara Tindall – 39 percent
10. Prince Edward – 34 percent
11. Prince Harry – 32 percent
12. Princess Beatrice – 31 percent
13. Princess Eugenie – 30 percent
14. Meghan Markle – 24 percent
15. Prince Andrew – 12 percent
